The University of Jhang opened its doors in 2018. The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) both acknowledge the University of Jhang as a public university.
The Higher Education Department (HED), the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) are in charge of, closely monitor, and oversee this Academic Walkway. Overview
By recognizing their accomplishments, the scholarship opportunities enable academically strong and worthy individuals to enter higher education. Many undergraduate students are now receiving scholarships from the College of Arts & Sciences, University of Jhang, including the Ehsaas Scholarship, PEEF, PAK-USAID, and HEC Need & Merit-Based Scholarship. The scholarship office helps deserving students take advantage of these financial opportunities and tells them about them.
The University of Jhang has most recently been added to the list of participating universities giving HEC Scholarships. All HEC-financed scholarships for BS/MS programs are now accessible to University of Jhang students.

Undergraduate Scholarship Program for BENAZIR
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan launched the BENAZIR Scholarship for the first time in 2019. This award is designed to help students who are enrolled in 4- to 5-year undergraduate degree programs. 50,000 undergraduate scholarships for a total of Rs. 6 billion per year were announced in Phase I.
In Pakistan, only female students are eligible for 50% of the scholarships under this scholarship program, which places a special emphasis on female education.
Students who are physically challenged might also benefit financially from this scholarship; 2% of it is set aside for them. This scholarship pays for four to five years of undergraduate study as well as the tuition at the university.
Currently, this scholarship is being used by about 479 students from the College of Arts & Sciences' various departments.
Pakistan-USAID Need-Based and Merit-Based Scholarship Program
Financially challenged students can apply for scholarships from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) or the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to study business administration or social sciences. This award pays for tuition, books, room and board, transportation, and other educational expenses.
Currently, this scholarship has been given to 04 students from the English Department at the College of Arts & Sciences, University of Jhang, for the 2018–2019 fiscal year.
The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) is a proactive scholarship program that awards grants to deserving students in Punjab and neighboring provinces including AJK, FATA, and Gilgit Baltistan. It provides graduates who are enrolled in ICT with financial aid. There are approximately 100 BS- students receiving advantage from this scholarship, with a per-semester installment of Rs. 18000/- Scholarship.
Need-Based Scholarship Program at HEC
The goal of this scholarship is to give talented students who are struggling financially and are unable to cover the costs of higher education at universities for undergraduate study in any discipline a chance. About six students from the departments of English, Mathematics, and Computer Sciences have received this scholarship.
Scholarships from the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF)
The four categories for PEEF special quota scholarships are as follows:
Children of government employees in BPS 1-4 (including active and retired government employees' children)
Young people who practice a minority faith
special youngsters
MORA Fellowship
The MORA scholarship is given to deserving students participating in graduate- and master's-level programs from the Zakat revenues of the local or district government. Even though this scholarship's award sum of Rs. 12,000 per year is not particularly large, it nonetheless offers some assistance to students from low-income backgrounds. Only Muslims are eligible for this scholarship.
Scholarship for Pakistani Bait-ul-Mal (PBM)
All students in need who are enrolled in government institutions are eligible for this award. However, the parents or legal guardians of the students cannot work for the government. If the student successfully completes the current period, the scholarship will continue for the following semester or year. This scholarship is awarded for one semester or for one academic year.
UOJ Financial Aid/Scholarship
A scholarship program has been developed by the University of Jhang for worthy and gifted students. These internal scholarships will be put into effect sooner.
